Story no 5: Raman and the stories: Chapter 1

STORY NAME: RAMAN AND THE STORIES: CHAPTER 1

CHAPTER 1: THE DISCOVERY OF CELL

In a happy town there lived two siblings Sidhu and Maya. They were very curious on learning new things from their old grandpa Raman. He tells them stories every day. One fine day Sidhu and Maya's Parents went out for shopping without their kids leaving them cry in the house. However, Raman made their cry vanish by telling them that 'He will order their favorite chicken momos from Zomato'. Which made them Happy, and they were bored within a while as the electricity went off.

Now Raman told them a story about the cell and its discoveries. He began with- "Once upon a Time" and continued the story. There lived a scientist Robert Hooke, and he was a curious scientist he was the one who discovered cell it was actually an accident which led to the discovery of the cell and the main part of Biology. He was researching on something and suddenly he viewed a thin piece of cork under his microscope which is a magnifying glass and this historic event had occurred at 1665.Then moving on to Auton Von Leeuwenhoek’s discovery of well-defined microscope and Leeuwenhoek made his most important discovery early in his scientific career, in 1674, when he recognized the true nature of microorganisms. Starting from the assumption that life and motility are identical, he concluded that the moving objects that he saw through his microscope were little animals. Followed by Leeuwenhoek Robert brown discovered the nucleus in 1831 and then the main part of discoveries on cell is the cell theories by Jacob Matthias Schleiden in 1838 and Theodore Schwann. The cell theory number 1 states that All organisms are made up of cell. The cell theory 2 stated that cell is the basic structural and fundamental unit of life. Cell theory 3 was stated by Virchow in 1855 that told- All new cells arise from a pre-existing cell. Cell theory 4 stated that All organisms start their life from a single cell. Sidhu asked his grandpa how is the cell theory 4 possible?

Suddenly they heard the calling bell sound Sidhu went to see who it is and then he saw the delivery man with the food. He got the food, maya and Raman grabbed it, and they started eating.
